Spend May on the cave. Five teenagers found it in 1959, and inside were halls tens of metres high and paintings from the Palaeolithic. It is now the main sight of this end of the coast and the workplace of a good part of the town. The conclusion for anyone moving: Nerja lives on tourism all year, but unevenly — load is 5 out of 5 in August and 1 in January.
