How the answer is worked out
The quiz does not guess taste. It narrows the base by measured fields in turn: how many months the sea holds above 20 °C, whether the town works in winter, what a square metre costs and on which basis that price is computed, whether there is an international school, how far the hospital is, and whether life without a car is possible. The answer is not «the best place» but what is left once your constraints are applied.
That is why the questions are framed as trade-offs rather than wishes. What people want is much the same for everyone — warm, coastal, cheap, lively — and leads nowhere. What you are willing to give up is personal, and it cuts a hundred and thirty-two places down to a handful.
