Dry is not only about comfort: the island's drinking water comes from desalination, and the bill differs from the mainland's. The gap between places is the usual Canarian one: Arrecife scores 5 out of 5 for winter, with the hospital 5 minutes away and the airport 8 and a square metre appraised at €2,011.
