November is the island's best month by the numbers: air at 22 °C, sea at 22.7 °C, and fewer people than in summer. This is the month people come to the Canaries to winter for, and in our base it looks like June on the mainland coast.
It has a downside the brochures skip: the north and the south of the island live in different weather. Puerto de la Cruz has 55 rainy days a year and 72% humidity; Adeje in the south has 18 days and 60%. All on an island an hour wide. We do not count rain by month: our base holds the yearly figure only.
