September is this shore's best month. For anyone moving it shows both the water and the return of ordinary life: schools have started, locals are back. What follows is a sharp drop — 2 in November, 1 in December. Both states are worth seeing, and the closest thing to the winter one here is Girona: not on the sea, and the same all year.
