Spend March on the rock. The Peñón de Ifach rises straight out of the sea for more than three hundred metres and is visible for tens of kilometres; it is protected ground, with a path to the top. At its foot lies a salt lagoon inside the town, where flamingos arrive in winter. The town is pinned between the two and is more compact than the resorts nearby. A metre appraises at €3,004, a one-bedroom rents at €1,000.
